The irony of thing is that people that starts with the mental mindset of having cheap coffee maker usually make it more expensive. Folks that are looking for a cheap machine would want it cheap and good.
That means, they want the machine to be extremely low price and can last them for a very long time. We all know that those
cheap coffee makers are prone to breakdown.
Most of us would be willing to discard it and get a new machine, but for those folks that want a good deal, they would try to get it repair, this is when the cost stack up. Imagine every repair cost about 20% of the cost of buying the initial machine and they need to do it for a couple of times?
The time spend of waiting for the repair, frustration and many other factors and coordinating the repair far outweights the cost of simply buying another low cost coffee machine.
So, the rule of thumb is, if it is low cost, don't bother getting the repair, it is simply not worth the while!!
